We started a small hobby nursery in our small backyard in the fall of 2016 with zero experience. Through a whole lot of trial and error, and plenty of ups and downs, today we run a full time nursery operation from our 6 acre property in North Alabama.

We began learning plant propagation in the earliest days, and after doing it for a few years, started a Youtube Channel, Savvy Dirt Farmer, about our little adventures in our small backyard nursery. That nursery was about 1,200 square feet in size.

As our Youtube following grew, we began to see a need for nursery beginners like us to have a live source of information they could learn the ropes from. And, today, Nursery You is a community of people devoted to helping build You, so you can build your nursery.
